I sure feel blessed to have my sweet little Emme. Out of all my children I expect the most out of her and ask the most of her. She carries this role in the family joyfully. She is often times quick to have her feelings hurt but is even faster to forgive. She has such a sweet nature. She can almost always be found taking care of or playing with her younger brother and sister. She often times is taking care of Parker too. I have had to get onto Parker because he will yell for her to come wipe him after he uses the bathroom, and she quickly goes to take care of it. Carson has gotten in the habit of yelling for Emme to come get him after a nap. What a wonderful helper she is to me.
I often have to remind myself that Emme is only 3. (Almost 4) She is very mature, most of the time! She is very smart and has been teaching herself to read. She taught herself to write the alphabet, upper and lowercase, over a year ago. She is very self productive. She will teach herself new things and then show me. She often will clean things up and even change a diaper without being asked.
While Emme can be the sweetest little thing around she does have quite a bit of sass in her. She often has to be reminded that I am in fact the mommy and she is not. During the prayers at chuch, she can be found giving a stern look and a finger shake to any sibling not holding to her standards!
Emme loves to dance and suprisingly does well. She was never very graceful, hence the hole to head last year! I accidently put her in a dance class that was too old for her but the scheduling was better for us. The teacher said she would probably need to be moved to another class because there was no way she was going to be able to keep up. By the end of the class the teacher said that she could stay and she even did better than most of the older girls in her class! We sure our proud of our sweet little girl. She brings so much joy into our day.
